Groups are formed for a variety of reasons. In most cases, they are created to enable people to work towards achieving success. The teams can be formed in an organization, among students or when working towards a particular project. People working in a group have been known to achieve more compared to those who work individually. Researchers have associated this with self empowerment through team building.

At the norming stage members form strong squads that they would wish to work with towards the achievement of their goals. The teams will then start putting action and efforts towards ensuring that they meet their objectives. On completion of the set period or when the organizations achieve their goals, the group is recessed. This is common in clubs that are formed with its sole purpose being to achieve specific goals.

After setting these rules, participants will choose crew leaders who will be responsible for specific functions. For example, a secretary will keep all the records of group meetings. Supporters are then allowed to interact with learning more about themselves. These meetings take place in social environments like a squad can organize a camp to allow supporters to communicate openly.

Groups have helped people to attain specific skills and qualities. A person is assisted towards developing good communication and listening abilities through brainstorming and presentation of ideas. A person is enabled to gain courage thus putting them in a place where they can give a speech in the presence of others. They learn negotiation skills to use in handling a variety of disagreements among group members.

During the brainstorming meetings, members can attain specific skills like communication, active listening and good negotiation abilities. Moreover, followers are guided towards a variety of ways they can use in solving a problem and in the process they are equipped with problem-solving skills. By working towards meeting, deadlines associates are enabled to learn how to deliver when working under pressure.

The empowering procedure begins with giving people the freedom to make their own decisions. This is achieved by supervising them in a controlled environment. That is a being helped to come up with ideas, or they are guided towards improving their thoughts. Working in a team allows participants to access the necessary resources they will need towards acquiring their goals.

A team can hire experts who will guide its associates on a diversity of topics depending on their roles. These experts will help in transferring knowledge which they can put into practice while handling a range of issues. Members who have expertise in the field are also given an opportunity to put their qualifications in practice. For example, those who have gone through specific challenges in the past may offer guidance on how they were able to deal with the issues.

The empowering process begins with writing down expectations, providing training, selecting the correct procedures to use, brainstorming on a variety of ideas, forming clubs. The crews are placed depending on their goals and qualities. Members are assisted in changing behavior such as procrastination. Associates are guided to predict outcomes they may experience. Groups help people to achieve their goals as a client is helped to develop on these processes.
