Throw a party like a rock star

One of the best ways to kick up a party a nick or 2 is by employing a celebrity theme. This way as guests arrive and celebrate, they feel a bit like they're in Hollywood correct. There is no such thing as too much glitter or glamor at a party of this nature - so let your creativeness run wild for a bit for more of a wow factor.
Why don't you start out by making yourself into a look-alike of one of your favourite celebs. As a host or hostess gather up some props too and take photographs with your visitors (if you are using a photo booth - you can give them an autograph too). By all means get out those over-sized shades, a flouncy hat and high heels or glossy shoes.
Speaking of images, consider embellishing the interior of your party space with life size cut outs of which ever stars represent your theme. If you are going old school definitely decorate in black and white using underdeveloped film as a part of your decorating scheme. Other probabilities for photograph opportunities include making a card limo or a television frame in which folk can sit and pose in classic strategies. It's amusing to have some tabloids around to give the shy of heart one or two concepts for their memorial photos.
Outside the locale, make sure to hire a red carpet, some spot lights, and other touches which make it feel just like the real thing. If you can get friends and family members to play snappers for you - that's a great addition as is a classic Hollywood sign and motion picture posters. And don't forget theme music with which to welcome your celebrity guests.
Food wise, a celebrity blast needn't be expensive. Go with lush finger foods like strawberries and a chocolate fountain, alcoholic and non-alcoholic bubbly in plastic Champaign glasses, pieces of protein and flavored crackers - truly the list is limited to only your inspiration (note: but that if the star you're portraying had a favorite food - you better have it on the menu).
It's down to you whether you would like an active party with games or one that is more social. Both have a place on the celebrity beat. Select what makes you and your guests most comfy, and what you know they'll make a response to certainly (after all , you need them talking about this event for some time to come).
Last but not least you need to include some type of give-away bag. At all the awards ceremonies these bags include the latest and greatest in makeup, shampoo, moisturising creams, chits for various services, and so on. Clearly you want to be guided by your position, but toss a little glitter into each bag and everyone goes home happy.
