Acquiring Curly Indian Hair At Home

By Antoinette Quinn

Over the past few years, many women have admired the curly Indian hair fad because celebrities had it. In fact, many ladies have been going to their hairdressers to have a unique and extremely curly hairstyle. Now the good news here is that one is now able to acquire curls at home with these methods although it will be harder.

The easiest way to acquire some curls would be to walk down the street and find a good hairdresser to do it. Just grow the hair long enough so that the people in the salon can give it the best look ever. Of course not everybody wants to do this as it is expensive and harmful to the scalp because of the chemicals involved.

The first step would be to keep her strands moisturized at all times. In order to get curls, the hair cannot be too dry or else the curls will just bunch up and get tangled which does not look very pleasing to the eyes anymore. So it is important for a woman to regularly use some moisturizing shampoo or some moisturizers on her locks.

For those who do not have natural curls or waves, use some curl enhancing shampoo as well as conditioners to give it the extra shine. After a while, curls will form and it will be time to start scrunching up the hair. Now for people with straight locks, always remember never to use straightening products or else the curls will never form.

To scrunch up the curls, all one has to do is to flip her head in an upside down position and grab her locks with an upward motion in order to curl them. If one does this, her strands will become more solid and hardened. After that, she must seal the deal by picking up a blow drier and dry her locks so that the curls stay like that and eventually get used to being in that position.

After that, one must now apply some lotion that encourages curling on her hair so that it will be both smooth and curly. Always remember to fill the entire head with lotion as well as each root and each strand that is there. The tip here would be to put large and generous amounts so that it will also be moisturized.

One other tip that really works is to try buying a hot iron curler that is used on hair that does not maintain its curliness. These things make use of heat energy in order to make the curls stay in their position without going limp. The only catch here is that it is not very good for the scalp if it is used every day because too much heat is bad for the body.

So for those who would want to get some curly Indian hair without going to the salon, try some of these tips that are guaranteed to work. However, one should always remember that if she has curls like these, she cannot use shampoo. At the very least, she can only use baby shampoo which is extremely mild to the scalp.
