There are many people who are very happy as believers of Islam. This is one of the established religions in the world with huge followers. The followers of Islam are very keen to wearing modest clothes. The men would wear the Islamic turbans and most women would be covered all over.
Believers of Islam would read the holy book, the Quran. The followers would have to wear modest clothes as part of the teachings of Islam. They must not gaze on others intently as well. Following these mean that the followers are following God. They have to make sure that they would keep themselves from being susceptible from the judgment of other people.
The followers would have to wear clothes that follow the traditions. These are often ones that are made from flowing fabric. These clothes should cover the rest of the body and long enough to cover it. There are some people who just choose to wear clothes that have minimal colors. Some people though want a flair of color and prints which is perfect for the bubbly ones.
Men wear the thobes. These are garments that have long sleeves and are loose. These generally just fall below the ankle. During the summer, men could wear the light-colored version of these which are made of cotton. Winter thobes are also available and these are made of wool that are dark in color.
The men would also be wearing the tagiyah, a knitted white cap that fits the head tightly. There is also the scarf called ghutra which worn on top of the tagiyah when it is folded. The men also have to woear the agal which is a cord that is black in color and thick that is worn just like a turban.
There are many women who also wear the abaya. The garment takes the shape of a loose robe and this cover women from head to toe. There are some who also wear the jilbab, a loose-fitting dress which looks like a raincoat that is made of cloth. Many women also prefer the niqab, a veil that covers the face. It rests below the eyes and would fall past the neck. They also wear the hijab scarf.
Each of the follower of Islam would make it a point that they will not show any part of their skin. Being modest is following the teachings of God. They are very particular with sticking to these beliefs and they sanctify the teachings of religion. Being able to go out, not attracting anyone and being modest is a big part of their culture and tradition.
Children also follow what the adults are wearing. Boys would be wearing the diahdash, a set of garments that looks like the thobes. They also have the skull caps which looks a lot like the ones that men are wearing. Girls have their abaya or jilbab as well to stick with the tradition.
