How To Tie A Fashion Turban In Different Ways

The turban is rapidly becoming one of the most creative, ethnic, and eccentric pieces of fashion. The best thing about a fashion turban it presents a fashionable solution to a bad hair day. Additionally, it is a much better alternative to a satin bonnet meant to be worn when sleeping and not socializing. Satin bonnets are like a hair care version of sweatpants, and always look like the wearer did not try to wear them properly. Having several bright and patterned scarves can turn a bad hair day to a cool fashion statement. For those who do not know where to begin, here are some guidelines on how to tie a fashion turban.

One of the easiest and fastest fashion turban looks that women achieve is the forehead wrap. To tie it, the hair is gathered into a low ponytail or bun at the necks nape. If someone is using a square-shaped scarf, it can be folded into half diagonally so that the corners meet and form a triangle.

The straight edge is placed in the center of the forehead so that the remaining parts of the scarf and triangle point are pointing at the neck. The other ends are tied into a knot and the loose ends allowed to hang free. Alternatively, it can be tied into multiple knots to nestle the side of the neck.

A ponytail wrap or headband is another fashionable way of tying turbans. This look can be gotten through gathering the hair to form a low lying ponytail and then tying the scarf around its base with a single knot. The scarf should be folded to form a band and then tied like a bow around the crown so as to accent free flowing hair and high ponytails.

Tying a fashion turban with the Riveter wrap (Rosie) is another recommended way. It can be tied by diagonally placing the square areas of a large square-shaped scarf in a manner that they from a huge triangle. The left side is pushed while the right side is crossed over, but keeping both sides out. The ends are pulled by the wearer so that the wrap is as tight as they are comfortable with.

A Rosette turban is another recommended way for women wishing to know how to tie a fashion turban. They are at their best when folded using rectangular scarfs with diagonal folds.
