Kettlebells Can Give the Giants a Super Bowl Win

By Rob Sutter

Kettlebells aid in making people stronger, faster, and more agile. Everyone knows and accepts this as fact by now. But what some people don't realize is how beneficial these weights and their workouts can be to already elite professional athletes. Take, for example, the New York York Giants, who will be competing for their second Super Bowl championship in less than five years. They already have supremely conditioned athletes but these unique weights likely could help make them better.

1. Eli Manning - The youthful quarterback of the Giants has verified himself time and time again in critical conditions this season. He has been able to rebound from vicious hits. He has done this by opposing linemen. With the help of kettlebell training, Eli likely could develop more foot speed and even better stamina.

2. Victor Cruz - Easily one of the breakout stars within the Giants, this stellar wide receiver has been a great reason as to why the offense has been so good. He is able to move faster than those on the other side of the field and his consistent work rate has earned him the trust of the entire team. Fitness authorities like Lorna will state that the kettlebell workouts are varied in benefits, much like Cruz's game on the field. He can easily use kettlebells in order to improve himself. His powerful offense, amongst other traits, can only become better.

3. Jason Pierre-Paul - A leading force on the Giants potent defense, Pierre-Paul has emerged as another star for the Giants at the defensive end position. With 16.5 sacks, Pierre-Paul became one of the cornerstones of the Giants defense in only his second season. Opposing offensive players hesitate to tread in Pierre-Paul's stomping grounds, lest they add their names to his already extensive sack list. Kettlebells would only improve the brute strength of this man, but also improve his agility on the field.

The New York football Giants, already having a stellar post season, can only hope to add to it in the upcoming days. If the players wanted to, they could incorporate kettlebell training in the off season. These weights can only improve upon their already striking physical conditioning. If they did, who knows what they could accomplish during the 2012 regular season?
